assigned altmode at birth is one of the dumbest things IDW1 did

james roberts saw a sci-fi alien species defined by their ability to change their shape and role and each part of their bodies at will (sometimes with a bit of specialized equipment) and said "but what if biological determinism though". CLOSE-MINDED

Misc idw1 prowl things from a while back.

Song probably doesn't fit but I got inspired while listening to Nobody Escapes by Mother Mother. Didn't get to finish it.

And then scrapped sketches fir it.

Holoforms. Mixmaster bonecrusher and Prowl were the ones I had a sort of solid idea for. Prowl is the only one here who has a holoform in canon out of them all. He's largely just stylized, he also gets to stay a redhead. Longhaul and Hook I straight up ran out of ideas for so Hook got to be a karen and Long Haul ended up being a golden retriever. Though ppl rlly liked him. Scavenger went through the most changes during design. Then devastator I drew as a joke, he doesn't need a design, but I think ironically this works really well for them?. And of course they'd scale up slightly. I don't think gestalts really should have or need holoforms and if so they are they should really just be one form, if disharmony occurs it could be neat to show them break apart like steven universe fusions. But I feel like this fits how devastators mind seems to work in conjunction with prowl's story. Otherwise the individual designs I'm not 100% happy with even Prowl. Most solid ngl probably mixmaster.

This isn't a holoform but in our shitpost rp Hook turned scrapper into a duck for like half a day.

this year i have discovered transformers so some bees and tailgate are learning from the master.

i mainly just put rb bee here as an excuse to draw him again i actually dont know much about aligned ive only played wfc+foc DOES NOT COUNT YOU CAN'T MAKE ME and watched s1 of rb. perhaps animated bee would be more fitting but i haven't watch tfa or interacted w the fandom enough to know.
