š§āØ Welcome back, gremlins, to Fanfics & Updates n°7!! āØš§
This weekās recap is proudly sponsored by: a frankly ridiculous cheese platter, an alarming lack of sleep, the slow but inevitable burnout, and the unhinged decision-making skills of someone who really should have taken a nap instead. āŗļøš
⨠But hey!! Turns out that despite being absolutely knackered, I still managed to post A LOT, because apparently, I have zero concept of self-preservation and too many ideas rattling around in my sleep-deprived brain. Who knew?? š« š
So buckle up, grab a snack (preferably not as chaotic as my cheese platter), and letās dive into yet another week of unhinged fic updates, questionable life choices, and utterly feral creative energy!! š«¶šš·āØ
NB: Also, I am legit re-reading Gilded (yes, my own ficāsorry, but she is LONG (that's what she said), and I forgot stuff š), and let me tell you⦠that shit is making me cry. Like, who wrote this emotional damage??? Oh, right. Me. Anyway, I KNOW I keep saying the next chapter is coming, and besties, it ISāI swear on my ridiculous cheese platter!! š« š
ALSOāsome new ships (i already have stuff posted for some but oh well-) are making their grand debut next week, so get ready for that chaos!! šāØ
I'm not gonna say WHO, but there will be SIGNS-
"CEO-nly Have Eyes for You", a CEO Gil-galad x Reader fic!
Summary: Youāre unemployed.
At first, this was kind of nice. A little break. Some time to breathe. Maybe a moment of self-reflection.
But then self-reflection turned into self-loathing, which turned into checking your bank account and realizing that, at this rate, youāre either going to have to start an OnlyFans or learn how to fight a raccoon for discarded sandwiches behind a McDonaldās.
You have applied to every job imaginable.
Barista? Rejected. Apparently, you needĀ experienceĀ to pour milk into a cup.
Receptionist? No dice. Despite your ability to say āHelloā in an unnervingly cheerful tone, they wanted āsomeone with administrative skills,ā which, first of all, rude.
Social media manager? Despite not knowing what an engagement metric is, you gave it a shot. No response.
At one point, in a state of sheer desperation, you applied to be a āJunior Cloud Consultant,ā which youāre still convinced was either a scam, a secret government recruitment scheme, or a job for actual gods.
You are nowĀ oneĀ rejection email away from taking itĀ personallyĀ .
You start waking up every morning with an unhinged determination toĀ get a jobĀ āany jobāonly for it to end the same way every night: you, doom-scrolling LinkedIn, wondering if you should just embrace the inevitable and become a cryptid that haunts the local library.
One moment, youāre elbow-deep in a job board, mindlessly clicking āApplyā on anything that doesnāt require a PhD or the ability to code. The next, you see it:
āExecutive Assistant to the CEO.ā
You haveĀ noĀ qualifications for this. You donāt even know what an executive assistantĀ doesĀ . It sounds important. It sounds like something that requires, at minimum, the ability to read a spreadsheet without crying.
But at this point? You do not care.
You apply, fully prepared to never hear back.
Links (since I'm an unhinged Goblin, you have chapters 1 and 2 already available for the first week and chapter 3 is either coming tonight or tomorrow if I got some energy left from my exercises XD):
Chapter one is available here!
Chapter two is avalable here!
"The Song No One Wants to Hear", a Mirdania x Adar Rockstar AU!
Summary: The cigarette burned low between Adarās fingers, a lazy curl of smoke rising into the cold air. The street outside the old cinema was alive with bodiesāhopefuls clutching crumpled lyric sheets, fidgeting with guitar straps, trading nervous glances under the flickering neon glow of the marquee.
AUDITIONS TODAY ā LEAD SINGER WANTED.
The words felt like a joke. A cosmic punchline he wasnāt laughing at.
They didnāt need a new singer. They had a singer.
He could still see the last show they played, Liorās silhouette cutting through the stage lights, arms stretched toward the screaming crowd.
Could still hear the bullshit speech about ānew opportunitiesā and ābigger things.ā
The fucker didnāt even have the decency to tell him first. He found out when the press release dropped.

"Call Me By Your Father's Name", an Elendil x Reader fic, modern AU!
Summary: The worst part about all this? You had agreed to it.
With full awareness of what you were signing up for, you had looked Isildur in the eyeāyour best friend, the human embodiment of chaos and last-minute plansāand told him, Fine. Iāll cover for you, but you owe me.
Because what kind of best friend would you be if you didnāt let him have the night off for a very important Valentineās date with Estrid?
Now, standing behind the counter of the most aggressively decorated coffee shop in existence, you were beginning to regret every single decision that had led you here.
You turned away before you could start feeling bitter about it.
And then the door chimed.
You straightened automatically, pasting on your best customer-service smileāonly for it to falter slightly when you saw who had walked in.
Tall. Broad-shouldered. Dark-haired, with a short beard framing a strong jaw. His eyesādeep-set and kindācrinkled at the corners when he met your gaze, and his mouth curved into a warm, easy smile.
"Sundresses & Saddles", an Elendil x Reader fic, Cowboy!Elendil AU!
Summary: Itās early spring in the village, the kind of warmth that seeps into your skin, just enough to make the air smell like blooming flowers, wet earth, and the faint tang of fresh grass. The town sits like a peaceful pocket tucked into the embrace of rolling hills, with winding cobbled streets and little shops that line the main road. You can hear the soft hum of daily lifeāchatter spilling from the bakerās window, the rustle of fabric from the tailorās, and the clink of coins exchanged at the market square. It feels like a piece of history, preserved and gently breathing through time.
Itās the first morning of your new life, and itās already everything you imagined and nothing like you expected.
A manātall, broad-shouldered, and impossibly handsome in a way that you hadnāt quite prepared yourself forāstands beside the tractor. His hat is pulled low, his boots worn with age and use, and the most delightful little twinkle of mischief in his eye, as if he's been keeping this little joke to himself the entire ride. He doesnāt even look at you when you step down, but he does give the tractorās worn wheel a final nudge, pulling it to a stop with an ease that screams āthis is what I do, darlinā...
Chapter one available here!!!
Ending note: Okay, first of all, thank you to everyone who has been genuinely worried about me because of how much I post. šš Yāall are so sweet, and I SEE YOU in the comments and DMs like, āBestie, do you sleep?? Are you okay??ā And the answer is⦠no.
Not fine fine, though. Not āslept a full eight hours and had a balanced breakfastā fine. No, I mean "Bucky Barnes after losing Steve for him to go back to Peggy, ruining her arc and family in the process, while being forced to watch John Walker become a cheap dollar-store, low-quality Captain ASSmerica and destroy everything Steve stood for" kind of fine. š« š¤£š¤£š¤£
Sleep?? Peace?? Boundaries?? Irrelevant.
Weāre in feral creative overdrive, and at this point, Iām just holding on for dear life while the muses drag me through the mud. But hey, the fics are getting posted!! šāØ
So donāt worryāif I do crash, at least itāll be in the most cinematically dramatic way possible. Love you all!! šš„
