It's a beautiful mask, but all masks fall in the end

I spent my early twenties STRUGGLING with undiagnosed ADHD (and depression, and probably autism) and it nearly destroyed my ability to be creative. A big part of rebuilding my ability to make things I loved was figuring out ways to work with my brain instead of against it, and that was where these notecards came from.

They help me develop my ideas in a way that I'll actually follow through on with a tactile, color coded system that is flexible enough to adapt to all sorts of projects. I have used them for novels, I have used them for fanfiction, I've even started using them to plan some nonfiction projects.

Galadriel cosplay details!

I am forever in awe of embroiderer Michele Carragher’s work, and to see her pieces in The Rings of Power was a delight! This embroidery is especially delicate, with most beads only 1mm in diameter, and it was definitely a challenge to recreate! Grateful to Michele for her notes on this, and of course thrilled at how beautifully @oliviarosephoto captured the details of this costume.

I know I already made posts about accounts reaching out on Ao3, making generic comments about your fics and then saying they want to make a comic out of your work. Turns out, when you do reach out to them, it's actually not a collaboration, or gift or whatever: they want you to pay them. It's always brand new profiles, with the same message template.

When you look up on instagram, there is either nothing or an account with many many pieces stolen from other artists/made with ai.

This profile over here is "flossie_the_arts" and there are no insta associated to them. The insta that does exist is "floessie the arts". I do not know if this is them or not, but there are artworks on there and the bio and captions match with what's on there.
