I keep coming back around to these added action lines and asking the question "Any particular reason why?"
I don't think they move in to match contemporaneous Archie Comics of the turn of this century. So what is it? Is it a manga influence?
So far, the added lines -- though not adding anything at least these lines here don't disrupt the story. Except until we get this, a common and not effective device in early oughts Archie revisions.
Get out a thick marker and make jagged lines.
