30 Days of Pride- Day 15
Regulus Black liked lots of things. However he truly thought his family life. His mother's lack of love. His father's harsh relationship. Something. Had to explain what was so wrong with him.
All the Slytherin boys in his year were having sex. And all the Black family men looked at it as a sign of manlyhood. A sign of pride. So he tried.
He hated it. He actually couldn't stand it. It made him feel hollow and terrible.
But still he tried.
He had sex with anyone willing.
He only felt worse.
Until one night he was walking the corridors feeling deprived of feeling. His body heavy with the pain of it. When he bumped into his brother and Remus staggering out of a supply closet. Remus muttered about finishing rounds and Sirius told him to go with a quick kiss making Remus' already blushing cheeks reden.
"what do you want" Sirius put out his voice to be hard, emotionless.
Regulus just looked at him. His brother loved Remus. He wanted to be with Remus. He ached. He hurt. Before he knew it he crumbled into his brothers arms sobbing.
Sirius snuck him into the dorm. Apologized to Remus who climbed into his own bed and invited Regulus to sit. He pulled the curtains around them.
"okay, so, what's up?" Sirius tried to be soft.
"I guess I just have a lot going on" Reg hiccuped.
The conversation went on like this and with a lot of push from Sirius Reg told him what was going on.
Sirius supported and listened and at the end of the conversation Regulus even began feeling better.
Regulus still had a lot to figure out but he truly owed his life to his brother. He needed someone. Anyone to show him he wasn't broken.
He was okay.
Regulus: What's my sexuality? Well, I guess you could say I don't give any fucks.
Sirius: Is that your way of coming out as ace?
Regulus: Yeah that's pretty much all I got.
