Today's thought: Sky was the second person from Skyloft in-game who made it down to the Surface. Zelda had the help and guidance of surface-dweller Impa as she adjusted to the change in altitude, air pressure, etc. When Groose joined them on the Surface, he remained at the Sealed Grounds, likely exerting himself but not to the aerobic level that Sky was. And, to be fair, Groose also had an Impa to look out for him while he adjusted.

Sky did not. Sky kept pushing himself like crazy come hell or high water, never stopping, barely resting, and running himself into the ground until the very end of his journey.

When you move from an area of low altitude to high altitude, you run the risk of altitude sickness because O2 levels are much lower and your body works harder to transport oxygen. When you move from an area of higher altitude to lower, though, the opposite can happen. Your cardiovascular system is so hyped about the extra O2 pumping through your veins that you might overdo it. And I get the feeling that he reaaaally overdid it.

Its hard to come to terms with that no matter how much I love my partner as a person, I just am not (and perhaps wont ever be) attracted to him physically/romantically in the traditional sense. I feel shallow constantly quantifying him in these ways every moment we're together as some sort of way to justify how I feel.

Its not that I dont want him. Im just beginning to realise what I THOUGHT I wanted from him isnt whats sustainable for us. And I cant help but feel like its my fault.

Id love some relatable or wise words on this. Im feeling quite alone right now :((

this sounds like a rough situation and im sorry that you're going through it :(

if you don't think the relationship is sustainable i do think it's probably best for everyone involved to stop it sooner rather than later, even though that's probably going to be really hard.

you can love and care about someone while simultaneously understanding that the situation is not good and will hurt more than it needs to in the long run if it isn't ended sooner. i also think that if you both love each other, you will want what's best for each other and if you need to take a step back i would hope that he would understand that.

it's not your fault that what you thought you wanted didn't end up being what you actually wanted. i think you should definitely talk to him about how you're feeling, there are versions of relationships that are different than traditional ones and if you both want to go down that route then that would be great! you could always be partnered and love and care about each other without it having to be romantic or sexual.

basically, this is a hard situation and i do obviously think there are ways to have a relationship without the romance or sex part but you also have to take into consideration what he wants as well and if he's okay with certain things or not.

you also definitely are not alone in feeling like this, i mean we have this whole page with people who have similar feelings and experiences. if you ever want to reach out to anyone im sure they would be down to talk!

I haven't thought of how I would like for mine to be, though🤔... But odds are it would be relatively simple, not overtly fancy nor expensive, but still so cute and elegant.😖💝

I'd also love for my bride to wear a dress... but ultimately, I'd leave that important choice up to her.😉💓 I love women in tuxedos too, and if she wanted to try something unique and off the wall, she'd have my total support and enthusiasm too.

Aim for the Top 2! Diebuster, the romance between Nono & Lal'c, to be precise.

I can't give much details for spoiler reasons... Some people will also say my choice is terrible because [spoiler reasons]... But they're really one of my all-time favorite wlw couples ever.

Both are so brave & wonderful, and their story is so heartrending, but genuinely beautiful.🥹💜 Yet another big reason I love Aim for the Top 2! so much, highly recommended. (after watching the original, of course; 6 episodes each, 12 in total, and both are absolutely amazing)

{The DeckBoxes condition looked no better up close, rips and cresses covered her skin alongside a nasty looking burn on her right shoulder reaching down to her elbow. The fact she was able to fight in this condition seemed like a miracle in and of itself. Spade also seemed to flitch when your hand brushed her face before she visibly relaxed ever so slightly.}

{It doesn’t look like she’ll wake up quickly in her current condition. Her cards don’t look any better, the DeckBox having been dropped when Spade fell left them scattered about but the damage to at least a quarter of the deck was obvious. Seems Spade will be needing some replacements ASAP}
