Wars being reluctant but indulding eventually

Okay absolutely love the pitch, I adore how not-subtle Warriors is being in this scenario. He deserves to get resource aggressive and make a little scene about it.

I'd like 2 things:

Sky to accept Twi under his care as an omega and for Wars and Twi to finally acknowledge they have feelings for each other and Wild is just a catalyst

I love these two things. I think that Twilight definitely deserves to have Sky's acceptance, especially after how much the two of them have bonded over the course of the story. Twi is p much always there when Sky is without Time and feeling low.

I also am looking forward to the point at which Warriors and Twilight finally Figure Their Shit Out ™ and acknowledge that they've got something going on that is ultimately positive and enriches each other's lives.

That would be, like, the positive culmination of the whole scenario being cooked up in this story. I think that a significant amount of affection and acceptance would finally heal the confusion in Twilight's heart over what he's got going on.

I reread it quick last night to rebuild the tension in my mind and yeah, they’ve got it BAD for each other.

He deserves it, methinks.

Twilight comes kitted out with the standard Alpha hardware. It's the software that makes him different.

For an alpha, Twi is of above-average build and stature thanks to those Hero of Time genes. He's half a head taller than Warriors, broad-shouldered, and blessed by Hylia beneath his britches. He has more hair on his chest and stomach than some, which isn't as common among Hylians and in some eras makes him a fine catch.

Although he looks the part of a stereotypical sire and absurdly strong to boot, Twi is gentle to a fault. He partakes in violence because he has to, not because he wants to. He would rather spend a night cuddled up somewhere warm and dry listening to the rain pour outside than surrounded by a harem of doting omegas. He also, as we'll come to find out, sometimes has unusual ruts.

“Twilight gets into these swings sometimes,” Wild started, pacing away from them... “[He] gets moody, overprotective, quick to anger. It’s just like he’s going into rut.” Wild turned on his heel, but he kept his eyes on the floor. “But he gets clingy. He wants to hole up somewhere. Alphas like to be with anyone or anything that moves while in rut, and Twi is normally like that too, but sometimes he just wants one person... "When he’s fixated on me, he gets agitated if I try and leave... But no matter what I do to try and help him,” Wild squeezed his eyes shut momentarily, “it’s like nothing works. He’s painful, he’s miserable, he cries, he can’t eat, can hardly sleep, and nothing helps.”

Okay @alliancesinthedark I didn't want to ramble on the original post BUT I do have Thoughts. There are two most likely candidates for this one methinks.

LegRule is definitely a possibility. This sounds like something Hyrule could babble in the midst of the act as he's lost in the dick sauce, and from years of performing and partying I bet Legend's hearing isn't the greatest. Especially with all the skin-slapping sounds in the background. He'd probably tolerate it for a little while until the idea of it starts to bother him, and Hyrule would sound fucking devastated if he stopped--although I think it's more likely Legend would hold out until after. The broody silence after sex dispels Hyrule's post-coital bliss before Legend is comfortable enough to speak.

"Can we talk about new kinks before trying them out in the middle of having sex?" "Wh... What?" "The pony-play thing. Like, give me some time to wrap my head around it before--" "THE WHAT????"

Once the confusion is sorted out, Legend's ears are going to be glowing red in the dark and Hyrule's going to be laughing so hard that Wind is banging on the floor upstairs.

The other highly likely possibility is Twark. Mainy because Dark is a little shit. Because 'I'm yours' is also a mantra I can picture Twilight repeating in the middle of a hot and heavy sesh, and the intimacy of it might make Dark feel good for a little while before it makes him feel... not-good. The dangers of getting too close and all. Dark's coping mechanisms include dorky humor, and what better way to get his cowboy to laugh than with a horse pun?

Warrtime could never. Mainly because Warriors would never say something like 'I'm yours' in the midst of sex, it's too clingy. That and Time would probably just shrug and go with it. Wars has come out with more surprising things in the bedroom, and if he's being ridden, it makes sense? Time's ridden an ornery horse or two in his lifetime. He'll just going to take a fistful of his hair to arch his back and pound him even harder.

If Wild came out with something like this during sex, Time would not mishear him. Because you know these two. This is some passionate missionary where they're cheek-to-cheek and Wild's legs are shaking in the air and Time is consumed with guilt as he just can't stop his hips from moving...

What happened was I worked on the next chapter of Twi's heat fic and we're still too far from the TwiWars action, unfortunately.
