(In the context of your Legend/Time fic because I reread it) imagine the day when Legend overestimates his own tolerance and gets far more wasted than he intended. Time's smug "told you so" as he pays their tab and helps Legend out to an uber (because Legend's slurring and stumbling already and would rather die than be carried home). Maybe Legend's far gone enough that he spends the whole ride leaning into Time flirting, which Time tips the driver generously for putting up with. Then Time has to deal with Legend being a little horny asshole until he gets fed up and just tosses Legend over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes and dumps him on his bed.
"So." An warm, ringed hand found its way to Time's thigh. As the rideshare passed under street lights, Legend's dark nail polish flashed silver against the dark material of Time's slacks.
"So?" Time eyed him expectantly, barely suppressing his amusement at this rare show of overindulgence.
"I've been thinking about something."
"Dangerous."
"Fuck you." Even this drunk, he said it with remarkable acumen. It cracked Time's reluctance to smile fondly in the dark privacy of the backseat.
"What about, Legend?"
The silver stud in Legend's lip disappeared behind his teeth. The car passed over a pothole and he swayed closer with the motion. "I haven't gotten head in a while."
Time met the driver's raised eyebrows in the rearview mirror. The warning in the man's eyes was clear, and Time felt appropriately cowed by it.
"Dangerous thoughts, indeed," Time murmured. Legend hummed in agreement and leaned harder against his shoulder as the car shuddered over another rough patch of road. CTWest desperately needed to be repaved. "I don't know how I'm supposed to help with that."
"I've got a few ideas." Legend tilted his head up, and Time studiously avoided meeting his eye to spare the driver of whatever was going through his head. His tone was appealing and dangerous, and just a little too loud for true discretion in the quiet car. "A whole bunch."
Thank the Three they were pulling onto Legend's street so Time could see him inside and on his way to sleeping this off before this driver felt the need to say anything. Time pulled his phone out to leave a five-star rating and a generous tip as the car slowed to a stop.
Legend didn't put up much of a fight being gently hauled out of the car, bundled inside his apartment, or deposited on the day bed. As Time left him to fill a glass of water for him, there were twin thuds of his shoes being kicked off, and he was curling up in the corner of the bed when Time returned, already halfway to falling asleep.
"Don't go." Legend yawned, and he didn't reach out, but he did pat the area beside him. "I'm not done with you."
"Of course not." Time toed out of his own shoes and settled back against the wall. He almost hesitated to lift his arm in invitation, but Legend was already shifting closer to him. The same place in Time's chest that warmed over foals finding their legs for the first time and babies smiling at him in public simmered.
"Ten minutes and I want to try something," Legend yawned again. He hardly weighed anything, even resting as heavily as this, and his arm draped itself around Time's middle.
It was nearly one in the morning. No one was expecting him to be anywhere but in his own bed for several hours, and he settled back a little more comfortably on the throw pillows for what was sure to be more than ten minutes.
