Something heavy slammed against the door. Every head snapped to the source of the noise. Twilight dropped the knife he'd used to butter his toast. Wild's heart sank.
He didn't think. He shoved Twilight out of the way and grabbed the open jar of vegemite. This couldn't happen again. He wouldn't let anyone else get hurt again.
Wild shoved his way past Twilight, past Warriors adjusting his hair in the reflection of their shiny new cabinets, past Legend already bracing himself by the door.
Without thinking, Wild slammed the door open and lobbed the open jar of vegemite at whatever intruder stood on the other side.
Four stood over a dead skullata, barefoot with a flipflop in his hand and the most furious expression anyone had ever seen him make. A bump was already swelling on his forehead and thick black goop had splattered over his hair.

To cope, he built a flying shop that allows him to get around the many Sky Islands without a bird, but even then he's still a bit of a recluse. It's why he flies out to a distant island to sleep at night; he still feels like half of what he used to be. And given that his "salesman voice" is so different from his true, relaxed voice, he's still trying to find what it means to be "himself" again.

Hello this is the anon that noticed your ghiralink reblogging. Have you considered writing for them? 👀 They're my guilty pleasure ship fr, guess I'm just interested in your opinions on their dynamic!
I will be writing them in the next multichap HSH installment, although to call it a 'ship' is a stretch. They have a relationship based on mutual hatred and the bloodthirsty desire for revenge, and they will be in constant pursuit of one another throughout the story. Ghirahim comes with a strange obsession, and Sun isn't the only target.
If I consider a more canon-aligned Ghiralink interpretation... Ah jesus this needs a readmore doesn't it.
It was on-sight for them that entire game. Ghira liked to play and be a flirty menace, and he came out with so many borderline erotic descriptions of how he wanted to end Link's life. But he liked to play with Link, too ("I let you run away with your life... Twice, even!" "I'd take pleasure in punishing you, but I have no time for recreation.") and I personally think Ghirahim could have killed Link in the Earth Temple and just been done with him. But he didn't.
And I believe he chose not to.
Because resurrecting Demise was the sole purpose of his existence, right? Logically, Ghira should have one-shotted Link from the start. He was certainly powerful enough to do so; at no point in the narrative is it stated that he was recovering from slumber, or gaining power himself at each temple or what have you. But Ghirahim had fun with it. And on top of that, he claimed that they were bound by a red thread of fate. And oh by the way, sword spirits can engage in 'slumber', as Fi does, but there's no insinuation during the story that they can actually die. So even if Demise is dead, his vengeful sword is very much alive.
So with that in mind, I suppose my Ghiralink interpretations are these.
(1) Good Ending - Captive Link, sadistic immortal Ghirahim, a side of Link developing empathy for Ghira throughout their time together despite how beaten and broken he is, making Ghira have a small crisis and question his own loyalty.
(2) Bad Ending - o!Sky notwithstanding, I do like the idea of pet!Link with Ghirahim at the other end of the leash, who raises hell and bites and does everything in his power to make Ghira's existence a living hell.
My GOD. Please do a vegemite!Wild oneshot in the near future. The descriptions of how he uses it as a weapon is KILLIN me, smalls :D
(also you might be able to find vegemite in the int'l section of the grocery store)
Sorry man I got a road trip hc's ask and that sent me down a rabbit hole of hilarity. The vegemite concept is free to a good home, though.

“Everybody in?” Four asked half-heartedly, not turning around to confirm.
“Yeeees.”
“Sort of…”
“I’m getting a cramp back here already.”
“Great.” Four slouched down in the front seat, pulling his headphones out of his bag. “See you when we get there, I guess.”
“Alright, GPS says an hour thirty,” Sky announced as the SUV rumbled to life. “We’re making it in an hour ten. No stopping. If any of you need to pee, use an empty bottle.”
“That’s pretty gross,” Hyrule said with a grimace.
“Oh he’s not kidding.” Warriors struggled to get comfortable on an angle. “Twilight would you move up!?”
“That’s as far forward as I can go!!”
Time stood on the back porch, coffee in hand as he watched the car roll gently toward the alley. The boys all rolled down the windows to wave and Sky gave two friendly beeps as they pulled away.
Time sighed, bringing his mug up to his lips. “I wonder how many will make it back alive.”

A redrawing of that one scene from Majorlink's "A Hero's Purpose". I love this series and highly recommend it for any Zelda fans out there. Especially if you have played Ocarina of Time/Majora's Mask.
This scene from Episode 5 however, made me scream in excitement. I look forward to see where this amazing story goes. This was also an art practice for me with lighting / shading.
Okay but how does Aussie!Wild use vegemite as a weapon? Does he throw the container at people, fling globs of it at his adversaries' mouths or eyes, force feed...?
Flinging globs off of spoons is one option. I believe the texture of vegemite would be a pain in the ass to get out of one's hair.
Serving repeatedly for breakfast and lunch can help wear down his housemates so that he can get his way in arguments over things like what to watch on movie night or what game tournament should be next.
Force-feeding during interrogation is always an option.
Spreading a thin layer in front of the door or at the top of the stairs is a viable home defense method in situations like the home invasion.
Jars of vegemite make an acceptable projectile at the right velocity.
