Robert saying that Aaron is his boyfriend for the first time (even though it wasn’t true at the time) just so he could get the nurse to let him see him when he went back to the hospital is the cutest thing ever. Ever.
Gosh, Robert’s gentleness and tenderness throughout this whole storyline is amazing to watch. His love for Aaron shines through in everything he says and does and I think this is the first time we really see the real Robert, who he actually is, and not the facade he puts on for everyone because his self-loathing meant that he was terrified of showing people the real him.

Currently rewatching the abuse sl instead of finishing cleaning my room or prepping for my job interview Wednesday because reasons right?

I’m so pleased they’re calling out Debbie for being a pretty shitty daughter to Charity in this sl. I’ve always thought it was disjointed how not once through the entire Bails sl Debbie asked her mam about any of it. She (and Pete) were the first to know about any of this and not once in the course of Bails returning to Emmerdale to the day before the trial has Debbie even asked her mam how she is doing or discussed any of this. I know Debbie has her own thing going on with Sarah but I always felt like it was just bad writing that they wouldn’t have Debbie concerned for her mam.
Now that they are bringing her actions to the centre it really shows how the show has either deliberately or mistakenly (and are now trying to cover their arses) dropped the ball regarding Charity’s sl and the rest of Dingles. The Dingles are all about being there for each other but as we saw yesterday, one be one they dropped like flies and abandoned Charity in her time of need, pretty much like they did when she was 14 and had to live on the streets.
The most telling (other than Debbie) for me was Zach. You can see how devastated she was that he didn’t come to the court, even asking where he was. Because like it or not Zach is the head of the family. He is everyone’s Father figure and to not be there for Charity when she needed him was very telling as to where Charity is within the family.
