I really want to share with you my experience with Anpu and know if you have felt the same. I feel like he is just shrouded in mystery. To start with, most people only know him as the God of Death and to them there are parts of him that will never be understood. He has many aspects and I feel we know so little about all of them. In his presence I can feel the age of millions of years and the depths of a thousand mysteries. He is one of the most well known Gods yet we know nothing about him.
Absolutely yes! He’s such a mutlifasceted god. When I started reconnecting with him, I told my best friend that he’s also - in a way - a god of rebirth. Definitely not in the traditional sense but a step in the process. A being with one foot in life and one in death (or as I call it The Twilight, which coincidentally has been how I’ve described my own path for some time). It also goes hand in hand with him being more of a psychopomp than a full blown god of the dead. Plus there’s his protection aspect as well.
You’re certainly right about him being shrouded in mystery, and honeslty I think he partly enjoys that. I’m definitely getting way too many cryptic messages from him lately that I’m supposed to find my own answers to. There’s also a sort of...peace to it all as well, in an almost grandfatherly sort of way.
Ugh. I love him and would love to hear of more of your experiences with him to see if they coincide. (Not gonna lie, but I do feel giddy when my intuitions are shared with others because it’s almost a confirmation for me because I do struggle with an absurd amount of skepticism on my end. ❤️ I also hope that getting stuff like that out there helps others who are freshly discovering their path).
