I’m assuming that people who have been looking at this new fancy end of volume page for a while have come to a consensus about who the portal man is and I would love to learn more about these well thought out theories
Alternatively, I present a very poorly thought out theory
I think portal man should be klaus’s dead/combined twin/triplet/alternate dimension self who does not use the name wulfenbach anymore due to personal reasons
He is mad because klaus will not stop getting in our beloved ot3’s way and also will not talk to his daughter properly. He’d be grumpy about the way klaus treats Gil but he got distracted during those scenes watching a favorite side character, Boris
