Personality:
Jarome is a young man that hasn't made something of himself yet, but certainly plans to. He is intellectual and generally a serious person, he has a strong sense of right and wrong and an even stronger good will towards his fellow man. Jarome sees a lot of hope in the world but is a realist and makes no effort to blind himself from the harshness of the world, he simply believes he can vanquish it. He founded Team Legacy for a number of reasons. The first being in memory of his family, his mother and father and sister. The second, he truly believes his mutant powers, his abilities, are gifts and that he is obligated to use them responsibly and selflessly. The third is because it's the only job he feels he can do best, or at least well enough to make some kind of a difference. He wants to make something of himself and become well know, appreciated, and loved... this want combined with his overwhelming need to help people makes founding Team Legacy the only suitable job for him. Jarome is a spiritual man but identifies with agnosticism and while he is a natural-born leader and charismatic and charming teacher, he is extremely laid back and easy going. He loves children and animals but has no mercy when handling criminals or those who have hurt people for their own gain before.
Biography:
When Jarome was 8 years old a house fire took the lives of his mother, father, and his older sister. On this night, Jarome discovered his ability of summoning. The fire started in the kitchen on the ground floor while Jarome was upstairs in his bedroom. After hearing a baffling commotion coming from the other side of his house he ventured down the stairs and found his grieving mother crying for her dead daughter. When the spirit of Felicity Blakely appeared to Jarome and guided him out of the house to safety, Jarome still hadnāt realized what he was. A mutant.
His ability of summoning did not reveal itself again until he was teenager, not that he hadnāt tried to bring his sister and his parents back to him many a time since their deaths. After the death of his parents, Jaromeās aunt, Elizabeth Blakely was given custody of the young boy. Almost two years after living a normal but not-normal life with his aunt and uncle, Jarome was met with another paralyzing fear: sexual abuse at the hands of Aunty Elle. For several months the abuse became regular and consist. No matter how hard Jarome tried, nothing he did would make his aunt stopā¦ but one night he realized he didnāt need to have control of his aunt when he had control of himself. His ability of astral projection was a dangerous but necessary tool when he needed to escape his aunt. But at least he could escape at all. The abuse carried on for three years, until Jarome turned 13 and hit puberty and Aunty Elle seemed to lose interest in him. The abuse was never mentioned or brought up by either party thereafter.
Once the abuse stopped and Jarome entered high school, he was able to begin his life anew. His aunt and uncle were good to him if one could look past the abuse of Aunty Elle and the neglect from Uncle Randy. Jarome made presentable grades and played JV baseball for one year and Varsity baseball for the remaining three. He was a thoughtful and intuitive young man and was well known for driving guest of a house party home at the end of the night. Jarome never wanted a relationship and so he never had one. For most of his high school years he was friendly and polite yet reserved. Like most high schoolers, Jarome had no idea what he wanted to do with his lifeā he certainly never considered being a superhero as an occupation.
A few weeks after he turned 18, he was walking his dog Newt one evening when a man at the end of the street smashed the window of a car. While the thief cleared away the broken glass and reached greedily into the vehicle, Jarome valiantly charged towards him and pursued the petty criminal around a corner. With a few powerful strides, Newt snapped her jaws down on the thiefās pant leg and Jarome tackled him to the ground. He stripped the car radio like a football from the thief and turned to meet four bullets.
Jarome awoke in the local hospital several hours later with gauze wrapped thickly around his chest and stomach. Gingerly, he arose and began scrutinizing his own chartsā there werenāt very manyā he discovered heād been checked in late that evening and was unconscious for a 6 or 7 hours. He found a bathroom and unwrapped the gauze in order to see the wounds for himself but was shocked to find smooth and undamaged skin. He check his right elbow, the scar from a when he fell off of his bicycle at age 6 was still there. The bullet wounds, however, had vanished.
Team Legacy: Friends or Foes?

Led by Jamaican-American Jarome Blakely, Team Legacy is a New York-based team of mutants that work together to help and protect both humans and mutants. It has been said that they also wish to show the public that mutants can be beneficial to society and even become assets to the non-mutant world. Team Legacy was founded in 2011 by Jarome Blakely and is made up of just two other young men: Noah Dupont, and Cassius āCassā Maximoff, youngest son of Wanda Maximoff. Noah Dupont is the youngest team member with the power to manipulate the natural elements. Cassius Maximoff, who does not deny being present in the SHIELD Base 467 break-in of early-2011, is ironically Team Legacyās public figure and spokesman. He has been present at six political debates on issues of mutant rights in the past 4 months. His mutant powers are Teleportation and Empathy. Last but not least, Jarome Blakely is the leader of Team Legacy and has three powers: Summoning, the ability to move objects without touching them as well as momentarily bring back spirits that are familiar to him; Astral Projection, the ability to separate a ghost-like form of himself from his physical body; and Immortality.
Team Legacy has been noted just twice on local news stations for their assistance in two bank robberies. But are they really who they say they are? Are Team Legacy truly a group of super heroes? Or are they just as dangerous as every other mutant out there?
Powers:
Astral Projection:
Through intense and vigorous meditation, Jarome is able to separate his spirit self from his corporeal form and travel with a present mind through the Astral Plane. Dangers lurk in the astral plane and Jarome can see the essence of others, living and dead, in the astral plane but it is difficult to establish a form of contact in this way.
Summoning:
Similar visually to telekinesis, Jarome is able to āpossessā inanimate objects and move them at vary speeds through the physical realm.
Commune with the Dead:
Jarome is gifted, or perhaps plagued, by visitations from those who have passed away.
Immortality:
Unbeknownst to Jarome, he is immortal and cannot be killed and will never die.
