there are so many things that i could think of but i love stockard channing in the jeans and plaid so much that right now im thinking about her loving her homemade cider. they make it at the farm with apples from their orchard and i know in the states cider is basically apple juice? but i think she has a store of lovingly made proper alcoholic cider that she thoroughly enjoys
25 worst memory
god this poor woman has suffered so much. on the show alone her husband is dealing with a debilitating condition with only her for support, her youngest daughter being kidnapped, a terrorist attack focused on her family in which her husband was shot, losing the license to practice her hard earned career, and finding out her husband was planning to run again on national television with no warning.
i feel like zoey's kidnap and the betrayal of the announcement are probably some of her worst and she's so angry at her husband for both of them. the announcement might actually be a worse memory because while she's catastrophising for zoey and living in that fear it comes to an end relatively quickly. the betrayal from her husband not keeping to their agreement and the grief from that announcement won't really heal for another 5 years, until they're in the car in 'tomorrow' and she talks about how he's still here and he made it
