We attended the Los Angeles Environmental Educational Fair where groups looking to make a lasting impact on the world came to educate students. Youth from all over Los Angeles attended with their schools and families to learn about what it means to be eco-friendly within their community. . We taught students why it is important to protect animals, and the impact they can have in an animal’s life in choosing not harm them. We explained the importance a plant based diet has on the environment, and how a healthier lifestyle affects us both emotionally and mentally. . Over 80 students, parents, and teachers signed letters to support AB 479: The Plant Based School Lunch Option sponsored by Assemblymember Adrin Nazarian and cosponsored by @animalhopeinlegislation. . Thank you to our volunteers @lovedrivela, @dani_gerz, and Leticia Torres for teaching compassion, and working to increase awareness about the difference we can make through our choices.
