A-Q bears many similarities to the magical girl Alina Gray, who featured prominently as one of the major antagonists in the first part of Magia Record.

Not only are they voiced by the same actor, they are associated with the color green, sneak Italian phrases into their speech, and share a deep interest and appreciation of art. A-Q has even suggested they may have been a magical girl at one point.

It was long ago, but there were times when I wasn't alone. Once there were three of us around, and another time it was just two of us. And there was the time I was part of a large group, I guess. But maybe the most memorable time was when we were a trio. When I think about it, I'm pretty different from who I was then. And now that there are three of us again, it feels a little nostalgic. Ha! It doesn't help that I'm in league with troublemakers now, just like back then.

A-Q also used to have the ability to create Labyrinths, the domains of Witches, which was a personal ability of Alina’s.

Associations

While A-Q could feasibly share many associations with Kyubey as they are both Incubators, they dislike being compared to him. That being said, I’m more inclined to suggest that A-Q shares more similarities to Alina Gray than Kyubey even though they are decidedly less sadistic in nature.

Magical Applications

Because of their role as keeper of the Lighthouse and their ability to create Windows of Memory, A-Q would be incredibly helpful with things pertaining to visualization and past life regression.

A-Q could also aid you in embodying kioku, or roles, of other magical girls (particularly in but not limited to the Puella Magi Madoka Magica universe.). Much how like Name relives the stories of other magical girls in Magia Exedra, you may find merit in these explorations as well.

Making art, painting in particular, would be a suitable activity to do to convene with A-Q.
