She is smart, rather than reassuring her, she adopted a new tactic. She confronted her basically saying « yes I went to the cinema with him, so what? You don’t like him ». What I find interesting is she is trying to say to Yasmina « cut the crap now, if you like him, just say it ». When Yasmina is ready to admit her feelings at loud, then I’m sure Aïcha is going to support her and reassure her.

Younes, god bless his soul, swore to Yasmina than nothing happened, but she didn’t listen. And since Yasmina is snapping at everyone these days (almost every time rightfully so), she isn’t listening. Aïcha made her listen. She made her question herself and her behaviour.
