Sotsu episode 12 spent about 4 minutes dropping Hanyuu backstory so you don’t need to watch Kai, then OP, then basically just recapped start of Gou’s second cour with the addition of some admittedly good Satoko scenes, before ending on Hanyuu reforming in front of Eua which hey that’s actually cool I hope something exciting happens finally. Idk man, Sotsu’s 12 eps in out of 15 and I’m just not really feeling what’s happened at all, which sucks since I liked Gou’s second half so much. Genuinely wonder how I’d feel about Sotsu if I didn’t watch Deen Higu between Gou and this. Would I enjoy it more? Idk. Tbh not expecting Higurashi to end on Sotsu, like it just makes sense to me to expect something else at this point.
