Aquatope on White Sand! Fandub Recruitment!

Hey everyone! Another person and I are really keen on creating a Fandub of this incredibly underrated slice of life series called: The Aquatope on Whitesand! It’d be preferred if you have seen the show.. but if you haven’t..

Basic premise:

When Fuuka, a former idol leaves Tokyo, she never expected to find herself in Okinawa working in secret at the Gama Gama Aquarium. Sometimes strange phenomena occur at the aquarium, where she meets and befriends Kukuru, an 18-year-old student who is also the summer director of Gama Gama Aquarium. While along with her friends, Kukuru tries to prevent the impending closure of the aquarium..

This is a passion project so we will not be making any profit of course. This will be a big undertaking so time and dedication will be needed to complete it, but I’m sure we will pull through! We are currently looking for:

•VAs (or in general if you think you fit the voice of one of/multiple different character(s) in the series) —> we’ll determine if you fit the role!

The Aquatope on White Sand Ending 1

Episode 12 is such a definitive ending that serves as a perfect thematic culmination and emotional catharsis. Plus with 12 episodes being a fairly standard season length it totally could end there.

But the entire premise of Aquatope rejects that idea. It is at its core, about moving on from your dreams, and so even that satisfying conclusion isn’t the end, because life moves forwards ever still!

I think this same idea is reinforced by the show’s eventual end at what is really a beginning.
