#6727 BG Brasserie Urbaine Lazy Mary (Canada) Guys, tonight has been a NIGHT. Our apartment in the sky flooded after a pipe burst a few floors above us, gross yellow brown water oozing out of the walls and ceilings, resulting in almost all floor surfaces being covered with water. Things are as good as they can be given the circumstances, so we’re getting into this big stout to drown our sorrows. Coming in at 10%, this is a sweet breakfast stout with cacao, La Seve coffee beans from Nektar, Madagascar vanilla and lactose. It pours jet black with an espresso head and a chocolatey nose, the body is smooth and silky, there’s dark chocolate bitterness alongside fruity coffee vibes, the vanilla plays the background while the lactose slightly boosts the sweetness and adds to the body, wrapping in a sticky, boozy finish.
