When Brooklyn got home..she was --this close-- to calling Don and inviting him over..but she called Tina Raymond instead.  She met Tina thru Teyha Morales and some other girlfriends of hers.  Since Tehya is at work right now, she decided to pick Tina’s brain for some advice.

She asked Tina if she knows Don Lothario, or if she’s heard anything about him because her feelings are starting to change in a more romantic way.  Then, Tina told her something she was NOT ready to hear.  

Tina:  “I didn’t take you for the type of chick that likes to sleep with married men.”

Brooklyn felt like the air sucked out of her lungs...wait..but Don told her he wasn’t in a relationship!  She wanted to kill the messenger, and Tina sitting there with a smile on her face, made her all the more pissed off.

Brooklyn: “First off, I don’t mess around with married men..and you don’t know me well enough to jump to that conclusion!”  

Tina hops up to leave..clearly, she struck a nerve.

Brooklyn catches Tina on her way out to her car.  

Brooklyn:  “Look, I’m sorry for yelling at you. But, I was told something different..He said he wasn’t in a relationship..in fact, he said he always had trouble finding the right woman to make him wanna commit.”

Tina:  “I’m sorry for calling you a slut basically..*they both laugh* I guess Don’s still looking for that special someone...but, trust me. Don is married to some woman named Eva, I can’t pronounce her last name..Capricorn or something. He’s always fooling around on her.  Everyone knows it.  Just watch yourself, Brooklyn, I know you wanna trust him, but he’s not to be trusted.  If you lay down with dogs, you gonna wake up with fleas.”

Look at this photo and see what languages are listed in the person’s profile. As many readers are aware, there is a constant debate about whether Ezidis speak the language of Kurds (Kurdish), or whether it is the Kurds who speak (among many other languages they claim as “Kurdish”) the language of Ezidis (Ezdiki).

Many Ezidis choose to call their language Kurdish or Kurmanji when they get in touch with state institutions or when they are in contact with people in general. The reason behind this is that it is “easier.” Some claim that since Ezidis and their identity are not well known to outsiders, it is simply easier to go along with it and say that they speak “Kurdish.”

We beg to differ, because that is just a path toward diminishing and slowly eroding our over 6,700-year-old history and identity.

Look at this person who has decided to list both Ezdiki and Kurmanji in the list of languages they know. Instead of fighting and trying to reason with people who are not reasonable in the first place, this person has simply listed Ezdiki in their profile bio.

Why do we want to share this with you?
