So I think the shitty thing about going to therapy is that I've had such terrible luck with finding good therapists, but I also know such great therapists out there who are my friends in other capacities. Truthfully it could be that I like them because they're my friends and we have things in common whereas like, it's been like pulling teeth to find anything in common with therapists I've actually had in therapy situations without them truly shoving things down my throat and them being like, oh, didn't work? Well you didn't try. Anyways, I'm taking a break from therapy because it's so goddamn tiring to BE TREATED like this. I'm taking a break from therapy; not from taking care of my mental health. I've like like 300x better luck with self-help workbooks (like therapy and science-backed, not random Tech Bro self-improvement) just because it caters to my own processing speed, getting to just slow down without being rushed, etc. So I'm focussing on that.
