Stress can look like a lot of things, but for me, it manifests in the form of anything and everything related to digesting. I get nauseous but also hungry (???); my mouth becomes dry.

I'm a feminist. And, the way I wrote about my partner's journey being declined a vascetomy twice because we chose to be child free (while men who have become parents were able to get them at the same age), and the way all of the responses were like "fuck men" "this isn't real" "boohoo let's not pretend that men have it hard" It really hit me, because if I, aligned with feminist values and fully understanding where the pain comes from but also bewildered that we can't talk about men's health issues at all without it being assumed to be an opposition to women's health issues... other people probably react by cementing their values in the other direction. I didn't tone police because I understand the pain, but I still wanted to note this because I make 99% of almost every post about feminism and women's issues, and this is just a post that I made to highlight the one instance where it's not UNIQUE to gender, but rather to this imposition of "family values", and it was responded to as if it could not exist, because for it to exist, it would dismantle some kind of structure we already have. It doesn't. I think about this a lot as I move forward my own activism.

This tackles whether the barrier right now is emotional fatigue or physical fatigue.

All of these details happened in the background because the focal point of the story was how Ponyo used her magic to enlarge the kid’s toy boat and how they were sailing on the boat to find everyone. The fish were just in the background.
