The second ask series I’m creating for the celebration of 400ish. This one is named after food, and more specifically sweets, in the wizarding world, and is focused on the HP fandom more broadly, so any shippers welcome to join in the ask!

I. Sugar Quills

If you were part of the wizarding world, would you write with a quill or with a Muggle pen and pencil? Scroll or normal paper? What would your favorite character use and why?

II. Chocolate Frogs

If you could collect chocolate frogs, what wizard would you want to see in the back of the packet, and why? Which wizard SHOULD be in the packet? Who would you collect and why? How would your favorite character answer this question?

If you were a witch or wizard, what spells for beauty, cosmetics or hygiene would you use every day without fail? What would your favorite character use and why?

What would your favorite flavours of Every Flavour Beans be? Flavours that you could deal with but wouldn’t enjoy? Your hated flavours? And how would your favorite character answer this question?

Something he'd always known about but now — now he was having to deal with it. There was a reason why they'd been taught that it was against the law to request a wish from the angel. They may not have said exactly what that was but with the nightmares he was now dealing with had to have been his punishment for coming back to life. As much as Clary wanted to blame herself, he wouldn't let her. None of this was her fault. She was new to their world and Jace — he was very much the soldier the Clave wanted him to be.

But in that moment none of it mattered. He wasn't there to chitchat about the consequences of his death. No one at the Institute, not even Alec, knew about the nightmares and the fact that he was now starting to see Jonathan during waking hours. Eventually Jace knew he'd have to tell Alec, he'd have to pull himself from the list of active shadowhunters, but until then he was hoping that going to Magnus might be the solution he couldn't find back at the Institute. If Magnus couldn't help him all that was left were the Silent Brothers. Not something he wanted to think about. This wasn't some sort of mental disorder. There had to be a reason for it and whatever it was he hoped he and Magnus could find it.

"But I'm not here to discuss the things I've done wrong in the past. I'm hoping you can help me with a problem I've got in the present."

So this happened over night.
