Realistic:

Ty Lee did train with experts in acrobatics, but she actually taught herself chi-blocking. She discovered it in practice one day and worked on the technique until she perfected it.

Hilarious:

Because Ty Lee is technically nobility, she had know idea how fruit markets worked until she joined the circus. This led to a lot of accidental robberies, angry vendors, and confusion.

Heartbreaking:

Ty Lee has only fallen off a tightrope once in her life. When she was first learning, she started doing shows, and she asked her parents to come to one of them because she wanted them to notice the new special thing she’d learned. When she saw they hadn’t come, she started crying and fell off the tightrope.

Unrealistic:

Headcanon A:  realistic

Hosea is always looking out for his boys. His boys being Arthur and John, but he also considers Abigail as his daughter as well. (He’s just the Ultimate Dad) If he notices one of them is having a hard time, he’ll try to pull them aside and talk with them, and if he can’t do that for some reason, he’ll do nice but subtle things to brighten their day and/or make it easier. He loves his kids, okay? 

He was the first to notice Arthur’s cough sounded too much like his own. 

Headcanon B: while it may not be realistic it is hilarious

This man can and will fall asleep anywhere, and in any position. He’ll complain about it once he wakes up, and may even need help up, but he can Sleep. Floor? Sleep. Slumped over a chair? He’s asleep. Sprawled in a goddamn boat? You can hear him softly snoring. The gang sometimes wonders if Hosea and Arthur are actually related due to them both doing this, but. Hosea is the Master.

Headcanon C: heart-crushing and awful, but fun to inflict on friends

Hosea was thinking of a lot of things when he was caught by the Pinkertons in the bank robbery. He didn’t dwell on why he was caught, he had a feeling once he was caught as to why, he only hoped he could try to slink out of it before the others see.

Of course, we know that doesn’t happen. This was one of his worst fears, not dying, but his family, his lover, basically his husband, and his own sons having to watch him die. He knew his time was limited anyways, his lungs spoke to that, but he didn’t realize how little time he had left with them. He should’ve pressured John more to think about what he really wants to do, to think of a life outside the gang, god, he should’ve pressured Arthur more about the same, he should’ve told Dutch that he was going too far, should’ve put his foot down. Should’ve insisted on some things, should’ve brought up Arthur’s cough to Dutch more seriously, should’ve-

Hosea can see them looking at him, can see the desperation in all of their eyes. His sons are looking at him, horrified, with a tiny glimmer of hope, he’s still alive they can save him, right? Hosea doesn’t want to think about whether there is a glimmer of tears in John’s eyes, in Arthur’s...

Hosea looks to Dutch. Dutch, their leader, his partner, his world. Oh, Dutch. He hopes he can keep going, because Hosea knows his time is coming to a halt. He hopes Dutch was lying when he would tell him that he wouldn’t be able to go on if it weren’t for Hosea being there. Hosea hopes that the gang can be the thing to keep Dutch going strong, but...

Hosea turns to face Milton. He knows. He knows Dutch isn’t going to be alright after this, not for a long time, maybe never okay again. He only hopes that his boys can support him, and that Dutch can snap out of it and realize where he’s going before he’s in too far. He can only hope his love will realize what he has now, before he loses that, along with him. 

He hopes, if all else fails, that John and Arthur can have a good life, John can be a family with Abigail and Jack somewhere safe, Arthur living somewhere where he can relax and work on himself and that horrible cough Hosea fears more than his own.

Headcanon D: unrealistic, but I will disregard canon about it because I reject canon reality and substitute my own.

fuck dying, the jobs and guard on the bank job changed and hosea wasn’t caught. the bank job was still a bust, but hosea and lenny got out safe. There were injuries here and there, many grazes, bruises, and a nonlethal but painful gunshot injury here and there, but they get out safe. they still had to move but they got out safe. Dutch, who finally, FINALLY, sees how close of a call that was, snaps to his senses and realizes that maybe “just one more job” isn’t a good plan. maybe he should actually try to get the gang, their family, somewhere safe.

also i feel like if guarma didn’t happen arthur could’ve lived with tb bcus thats possible r* just hates us so that happens and dutch moves them to somewhere warm and dry that isn’t swarmed by the law in hopes that it would help arthur once the noise died down enough and hosea lives to see his sons live and prosper the end im a bastard that is a sucker for fix-its okay

Headcanon A, realistic: Whenever she’s having issues with Elsa, she talks to Joan. She was her confidant for years and Anna still finds it comforting that she can tell her anything.

Headcanon B, while it may not be realistic it is hilarious: She’s a big bisexual disaster who can’t help but gawk and drool over any hot man or woman she sees.

Headcanon C, heart-crushing and awful, but fun to inflict on friends: After finding out the full truth about what happened the night of the incident-including her getting Elsa out of bed to play- she blames herself for what happens. She feels so guilty that she avoids Elsa and Kristoff and even locks herself away in her room. After not even two days Elsa comes to her and tells her to stop. They’ve both spent far too long alone. It doesn’t matter whose fault it was.

four headcanons I have about our muse’s relationship

Gamzee has no idea what to think of Dave, like at all. Like really at all, at all. Sometimes he’s just ‘????? I think I’m motherfuckin irritated in your general direction right the motherfuck now’ and others he’s just ‘this dude’s alright, ain’t no need to break his bones none :o)’

I tend to think that they don’t spend a lot of one-on-one time together, not yet at least, Gamz is a bit too iffy around those that haven’t proved themselves trusted yet which Dave hasn’t really yet in his head, weird clown shit I’m sorry Dave he very rarely makes sense even to himself he just knows he doesn’t quite trust you to be showing him a true face ever and that rankles him and makes him feel like you’re a danger sometimes, it’s weird. BACK ONTO THE POINT THOUGH, any one-on-one time they do spend together probably involves a lot of Gamzee just quietly considering the Dave human, very similar to how a predator that knows it can destroy you looks at something so much smaller and more fragile than it, 

There’s no touching between them, touching is a threat, if Gamzee touches the Dave it’s either because it is a veiled threat or because he’s bored and wants to stir things/see how Dave reacts. Like gay chicken expect with sharper teeth and claws. 

four headcanons I have about our muse’s relationship

HORUSS IS GONNA BE A MESS AROUND RUFIOH FOR A LONG TIME I HOPE YOU KNOW. One part, ‘HOW DO I DEAL WITH THIS’ another part ‘He is very, very pretty and I am very very queer and I do neigh know how to handle being flirted with it is both good exciting and nervous anxiety inducing’ and another part ‘HELP ME I’M A DISASTER QUEER I CANNEIGH DEAL WITH THIS.’

Horuss definitely enjoys working with Rufioh, is very pleased with dedicated and focused work parent. Very pleased noises over Rufioh’s work ethic, they can workaholic themselves to a complete case 8=D. And then collapse at their desks. Or on each other. Or one on the other for cute scenarios... >.> <.< it’s there for the taking

I feel like once Horuss gets some actual rest and destressing going on he’s gonna be -head tilting- at Rufioh a lot, trying to decide if Rufioh’s being serious with him or if he’s just being himself because either way he is very receptive to this attention, very hesitantly returning it as best as he knows how to so very badly with a bit of umming and ahhing and encouragement from a clown that’ll probably end up sitting on Ruf’s desk in the middle of the night to talk at him about things.

realistic headcanon: loves Quidditch from birth, a naturally talented flyer even on his training broom that’s spelled not to go more than 5 feet off the ground, but cannot decide what position he wants to play until he is actually at Gryffindor Quidditch Team try-outs his second year (and even then he doubts that he made the right choice). When he’s a kid he wants to be a Seeker like his dad. A little older and he decides he’d rather be a Chaser like his mom (“because she’s a real Quidditch player, dad” he explains while Harry splutters and Ginny laughs at him). A family game in which the older generation convinces him to play makes him think about being a Keeper because “Uncle Ron is actually really good! Who knew!” (Ron: indignant; everyone else: finds this hilarious). The year that he deals with a bully at school he channels all his anger into practicing to become a Beater.

When he finally tries out for the team, he says he wants to be a Chaser, because one of his housemates made a rude comment that morning about how he always has to be the center of attention, and he wants to prove that he can work as part of a team, rather than going for the solo glory of Seeking. And he’s a really great Chaser. But two years later, when their Seeker quits the team halfway through the year, James volunteers to fill in, and the next week their Captain is holding try-outs for a new Chaser, because James is an absolutely amazing Seeker.

while it may not be realistic it is hilarious: James was the toddler who repeated anything inappropriate that was said around him, and only the inappropriate thing. One time Ron and Hermione were babysitting before Rose was born, and Ron entertained James by telling him about the time he, Hermione, and Harry broke into Gringotts. The entire story lasted almost half an hour, and Ron didn’t curse once, except to say “it was a fucking huge dragon, Jamie!” Guess which word of the story James decided to repeat at length when he got home?

heart-crushing and awful, but fun to inflict on friends: loves his siblings more than just about anything, even if he refuses to admit it, but has felt like a little bit of an outsider among them ever since Lily was sorted into Slytherin (subsequently feels terrible for how much he teased Al about being sorted Slytherin, but will never admit it). Yes, he has plenty of cousins in Gryffindor, while Al and Lily are the only members of their family in Slytherin; yes, no one really cares that the cousins are spread out among all four houses; yes, he knows they still love him. But they’ve got all these inside jokes yet, and they’ve always been weirdly similar but now sometimes it’s creepy, and he knows it’s irrational, but he feels like they’re in a club he’ll never quite be privy to, and he doesn’t know what to do about it.

The first night they were there, they all went out for pizza, and Harry and Ginny made Lily and Albus go to sleep early even though they weren’t tired so they wouldn’t be cranky in the morning. Teddy wanted to check out the hotel pool, and James was allowed to come along since he was the oldest (already in Hogwarts, thank you very much). Teddy jumped straight in when they got there, and it wasn’t until he got out to fetch his towel that James was treated to the sight of his perfect chest and stomach, soaking wet, and the way his hipbones stuck out above his waistband, and the way his throat curve when he shook out his hair, and the way his swim trunks clung to his thighs and…other things.

James spent the rest of the week-long trip absolutely mortified, refusing to spend any time alone with Teddy, to the point where Harry asked him if he was mad at his godbrother for some reason, because Teddy was worried he’d done something to upset James and had asked Harry to check in. James kept why he was in such a foul mood that trip a secret for a full eight years, until he and Teddy went back to that same hotel for Teddy’s birthday, and he finally admitted that he’d been a little shit the whole week because Teddy’s hotness had made his brain stop working.

Realistic: So it’s canon that Dot did youth soccer but I feel like she was actually really really invested in it and played every position at least 4 times including goalie.

Hilarious: Dot had to take a music class in middle school. She got assigned to the chorus which was her absolute last choice. Even though she could sing, she made it a point to be as ear-splittingly awful as possible so that she’d get moved to another class. It worked.

Heartbreaking: (CHAOS I CAN’T PUT THE SADDEST PART IN HERE BECAUSE YOU HAVEN’T SEEN EPISODE 3 YET GO WATCH IT RIGHT NOW!)

The reason Dot never shows up on picture day is because she’s too scared of being seen. When she was younger, she loved attention (in a healthy way.) It made her feel loved, but now she’s lost that.
