**Long Post** I had time to reflect ... Day 6! May 24, 2020. The Tyson Challenge was 6 workouts 10 times each Day for 6 days in a row! What I learned? Below was the daily challenge: 50 push-ups = 500 200 sit-ups = 2000 (1/2Crunches) 50 lunges = 500 50 dips = 500 50 shrugs with 40lbs (2x20lbs dumbells) = 500 50 Bulgarian split squats = 500 I learned my drive is still there. Though I am not in good shape I can still push my limits. I need to work on so much, however I am happy to see that I didn’t give up. There were nights I just wanted to go to sleep and forget about finishing my sets. I stayed up past my bedtime and kept at it even when I had to cut the reps less and do more sets. My form wasn’t perfect many times. I was tired after working and running errands some days. The mental struggle was def there, but that’s the beauty of it. At my weakest is when I learn the most about me. It’s when I can analyze myself and list what I want to work on, list my goals and start planning. This is the main reason why I love endurance events, bc they are not easy and I need more than just physical. I actually have to think, strategize and execute. It’s not always perfect nor do I always win but I always learn something new about me. I fear failure but I’ve learned without it I have not pushed my limits. #3elements #day6 #tysonchallenge #firefighterfitendurance #grit #pushinglimits #analyze #reflect #strategize #plan #do #beyou #stillsoreaf #keeppushing #failingdoesntmatterwhenyousucceed #fail https://www.instagram.com/p/CAs1MnogGeg/?igshid=pj1be4opskdg
