[DE] Ein paar Testdrucke die ich gerade mache für meine neuen Handschuhe. Natürlich auch verschließbar.
[EN] A few test prints I'm doing for my new gloves. Of course also closable.
Loving the Goddess of Love
I am absolutely in love with my new altar space. This is my area for Aphrodite and self love.
My Aphrodite statue is one that I 3D printed from a file I found online. I need to make a few adjustments as she sadly lost her fingers when I was cleaning the print up and removing supports. They were just so delicate.
This is my poppet that I made. I am planning on using her for my self love journey and workings.
Here we are with vlogmas day 2 (^.^)

My 3D printing project
A month ago I started to learn a bit of 3D modelling and design. Of course, I still have a lot to learn, but I was eager to try out my current knowledge and design something on my own.
And since I love watercolour painting, I decided to make a paint mixing palette.
The program I used is called FreeCad, and for the slicer I used Ultimaker Cora. Both programs are totally free.
And here it is... nice and all (actually, after I took a better look at it, I found a little mistake in the design because the upper quarter pocket doesn't have a rounded corner). But I have to show you the monstrosities the printer gave me before I got the final (and still imperfect) product.
Here is the very first one:
As you can see, I made a miscalculation in the temperature of the printing, so the layers didn't stick together, and the material too wasn't the perfect choice for this big printing project.
And my secound attempt:
It started actually quite well... but the weather wasn't so helpful, so after a big lightning stuck near our neighborhood, the printing stopped midway. Luckily, the thunderstorm hasn't caused any damage to the machine.
Afterall the third one's charm worked, so at least after long hours of planning, designing and coursing my lack of modelling knowledge, AND on top of that, 4 days of painful waiting and worrying for my print and printer, I got my palette, and I cannot wait to try it out. Last but not least, I got to know my materials and their behavior under different effects and conditions.
(Please excuse my English mistakes, this isn't my mother language, and sometimes I'm too enthusiastic to write my ideas out at once and then forget to proofread it.)
