I started to practice 3D modelling in Blender. Found a good beginner product design playlist by @sweatygreasestudio on Youtube.
I used geometry nodes for the twisted bottle and cap, and for the hairs too. (I do not understand them yet), also a neat trick to use latice to deform the mascara applicator head
Personally, I've always wanted to learn blender more in depth, but did not found the motivation to do so. Not the topic that would keep my attention, nor the correct difficulty challenge for me.
During the semester while learning about product design, I had to use generative AI to make a product render (to my great shame). I could have used blender, but the time and my skill limitation did not made it possible, and I had to finish the assignment. We got blender class, but those were not sufficient, besides it wasn't focused on product design to my disappointment.
On the bright side, my CAD skills are starting to come together.
