#30ABOUTME - 1/30 - CHILDHOOD - Wouldn’t be a comic by me if I didn’t make it about being queer but hey, it is a big part of my life so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Here’s a little snippet as to what young me was going through. Wasn’t all bad for sure but I remember these moments so distinctly. Sexism and transphobia isn’t fun for anyone, especially at young developing ages. Please remember that this is why gender inclusive language and actions are so important! - Also just a reminder in case anyone is confused / doesn’t know, my pronouns are they/them, I’m non-binary/genderqueer and only attracted to women and ‘feminine’ non-binary folk (i tend to say i’m gay/queer) ☺ the latter may have been obvious to some folks (I’ve been called a ‘lesbian’ like all my life to my face/behind my back lmao) but it’s taken me a long time to properly accept that myself.
