This is (in my opinion) the best student/teacher college destiel AU there is. Dean and Castiel come from different backgrounds and lives, different struggles and problems, but they work together and find both themselves and each other. This fic is beyond words amazing. Though Dean is the main character and POV, Castiel and Sam are characterised beautifully. Yeah, it’s a student/teacher college AU, but it’s so much more.

Sadly, you have to work for this amazing fic, as it is no longer up on AO3 or anywhere else really. But there is an ebook version out there (that’s how I read it), so...

This is how Dean grovels and begs Dr. Castiel Milton to make a special arrangement for him, and Dr. Milton does.

Comments: 10/10 this doesn’t really need a rec, it’s the most famous destiel fic ever, right up with Twist and Shout, which I did not have the courage to read past the first chapter. This fic is actually deleted, but my link works because the wayback machine is a godsend. I just really really love this fic, and I love how their relationship builds up, and how Dean comes to trust Castiel, it’s the slowest build ever, but it’s worth the wait.
