So, it doesn’t take a genius to notice there is hella mistakes about Mars. The most common one of course being he is a bloodthirsty uber masculine war God who only cares about bloodshed. Which if you know my blog at all, you know I extremely disagree with. There is an aspect of war with Mars and Mars Ultor but that is far from the centrality of Mars himself. For me he is far more a protector and guide to help me than anything. This is a very common misconception and one I’ve had to fight against multiple times.

I would once again direct to my post on being headblind. I’m headblind so UPG is very rare. I think the one UPG I’ve ever gotten is I have felt like I’m being embraced by something when I veil sometimes. But beyond that no UPG and especially not about Mars. 

It is mostly impacted by my personal view of Mars as especially one who protects and bolsters me in my fight with mental illness but yeah this reminds me of Mars, I would say.

For me, Mars is the defender at the Gate, not the bloodthirsty animal. He is the stark defender, prepared to defend and fight at any time. Rather than seeking violence for violence’s sake, he seeks for the protection of all those who he wishes to protect. Which in this way, is a very poignant that Mars reflects Rome. It is not a surprise that Rome was a nation often rife with war but it is also one that was trying to protect itself. In Rome religion reflected in every aspect of the daily life and this was no different in War. 

Quite honestly, a lot...... A lot of times I’m in the dark with Mars but I am doing the best I can with the Gods. I don’t energy a lot of times and I also don’t have the focus a lot of the times. If I could snap my fingers and know everything there is to know about Mars, that would be great. Or you know, be able to have some UPG from Mars. Who knows. There is so much I would like to know more about with Mars

Uhmmmm, I would just say mainly look at the post for Day 9 I guess. I think they’re all bad in their own way. Also my tiktok is mostly like nonbinary and wlw tiktok so I don’t personally see the bad takes I often hear about that happens on witchtok

I mean like headblind so that might have something to do with it with no UPG but no this has never happened to me
