Everything that happened in the Vault under Haven is probably the third event that really changed Raven’s life - after meeting Taiyang and having Yang - but likely the only time she’s had her outlook on life challenged. 

First, the fact that Cinder betrayed her first and immediately tried to kill Vernal - while she was always intending to double-cross her, and never trusted her, she was surprised at how quickly they had become targets, and probably realised that her plan wouldn’t work how she wanted. She’s probably concerned that Salem has at least an idea that she’s the Spring Maiden now, which puts the target squarely on her.

Then having Yang come down and point out that A: taking the Relic would make her even more of a target and B: taking the Relic would make Yang - and, logically, her entire tribe - targets Salem would use to get to her. Targets that aren’t as powerful as she is, that by her own rules she can’t protect.

Finally, it really put in perspective the difference between her tribe and her family. While Vernal was loyal enough to defend her to the end, I don’t think she expects the same of most of the tribe, despite being their leader. The fact that Yang was willing to put herself in Salem’s sights instead of her goes against everything she claims to believe, and is something she can’t just ignore.

She doesn’t know how to deal with this, which is exactly why she did what she’s always done - run away to hide, to try to ignore what’s happened.
