The men you meet are a manifestation of what you believe about men. You’re actually magnetised towards what you believe. The emotional charge is what feeds the belief, which is why you continue to give energy to it. There’s history in our beliefs, a pattern of events which created them. So whenever you connect with a guy, you bring these beliefs to the relationship.

Through carrying unresolved emotions towards the masculine, whether its your father or ex-lovers, you will play out this pain and project it onto the men in your life. You will use this repetition to affirm your resentment towards men. Unaware that you’re creating it. You will attract certain dynamics which are an energetic blueprint of your Love trauma. Same drama, different actors.

You will see abandonment, even when its not happening. You will seek out evidence to prove you’re being rejected, because it feels so familiar. Its actually comfortable for you to feel unwanted. More comfortable than feeling safe, loved and secure. Its easier to see men as disloyal and avoidant. It feeds into the story you keep telling yourself. You might even sabotage healthy relationships and feel unattracted to men that want to love you, as a way to keep the story going.

If you became your own point of sanctuary, if you were your own lover first - you’d enter a new perspective. You would become full. No one can take from you, as equally as they can’t complete you. You’re not seeking salvation through men, so you don’t need to demand anything from them. There’s no reason to compromise yourself or question your worth.

The old pattern holds no weight anymore, it doesn’t serve a purpose. You don’t need to do the dance of runner, chaser. You’re so fulfilled and loved up within your own being. You bring presence and vulnerability to your connections. You see other’s they are, not how you need them to be. You speak your desires from a place of exploration and growth, rather than neediness or lack.

All the men you meet from this wholesome place, are going to be so far removed from what you told yourself men were about. The past was just a teacher, preparing you for self-love and true intimacy. It weren’t about them. It was only ever about YOU.
