Hufflepuff: Roses signify both beauty but also a willingness to protect themselves if threatened, and yellow signifies sympathy and friendship. Yellow Roses mean to forgive and forget.
Gryffindor: The gladiolus is a flower named for the proud and strong Roman gladiator. The Red Gladiolus is seen to symbolise passion, strength and moral integrity.
Slytherin: Often associated with royalty, the regal Iris carried many different meanings to different colours. The Green Iris does not actually exist, but green flowers symbolise resilience and renewal.
Ravenclaw: In Chinese culture, orchids signify scholarly pursuit and dark regal blue shades often meant wisdom. Blue Orchids are representative of the learning process, intrigue and mystery.
