Aaand another ask!! I read this one a while ago and it was definitely on ao3. PWP, if I remember correctly, maybe 5 or 6 chapters? Essentially Steve and Eddie are together and one day a Steve or Eddie comes in from the front door, except he’s from a different dimension. They fuck about it, then the different dimension Steve/Eddie walks back out the front door and is sent back to their dimension. This happens 5 or 6 times (hence the 5 or 6 chapters; I’m fairly certain each instance was its own chapter, though again it’s been a while since I’ve read it, so it could’ve been all one long chapter). Thank you!!!

Not the best pics - but here is the Pazzi Chapel at Santa Croce - left unfinished because of the Pazzi conspiracy and subsequent fallout. The entire thing has such a strong feeling of “this is the mausoleum for a family and their legacy” and “a reminder to all who come after: don’t fuck with the Medici.”
All the walls were intended to be frescoed and it would have been an absolute work of art. Alas, 1478 happened.
The outside of it is equally bleak and sepulcher-ish
