I’m looking for a fic that I originally read on Tumblr but I think it’s also on AO3.
After the events of spring break, Eddie is in the hospital but Eddie doesn’t remember anything about Spring Break, or them being friends. Still Steve visits him and takes notes on how Eddie is doing every day.
At one point, Steve makes Eddie a mistake hoping to get Eddie to remember him. It’s got song like Material Girl, Uptown Girl, and Rich Girl on it and Eddie comments there’s a lot of songs with girl in title.
Later on Eddie starts remembering stuff about Steve, but a nurse shows Steve that Eddie’s been writing on himself so he won’t forget.
Eventually Steve and Eddie find a way to wake up Max and get Eddie’s memories back

In 1269, Genghis Kahn was taken from time along with other historical figures by the time travelers Bill and Ted. The historical figures Napoleon, Billy the Kid, Socrates, Sigmund Freud, Beethoven, Joan of Arc, Genghis Kahn, and Abraham Lincoln were taken to 1988 to spend the day in San Dimas, CA. Kahn was part of the cause of them all getting arrested as he went wild in a local mall ("Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure", Flm)
