t and i also went for a twenty minute walk in the morning in the blowing snow (my phone was charging) and it was just a nice day and i’m happy to be home!!

1: woke up in my new apartment this morning to bright sunny end of summer day 2 and 3. We went out for breakfast with Js best friend from undergrad who was in town for a wedding. It was so nice catching up with him since he lives in Michigan (and he might move to Chicago too!!) 4. Speaking of best friends, mine drove up last night. We ate ramen and she brought me ice cream. She's in the grad school application process and is super nervous about getting in for PT but I know she will do amazing 5. We did a ton of grocery shopping plus I needed some personal items. This soap I got smells delicious and is not tested on animals 6 and 7. I studied a lot this afternoon bc my first day of class is tomorrow! I'm so nervous and I hope everything goes okay 8. We roasted a lot of veggies to eat throughout the week so here's to our second apartment meal 9. My mom sent me with some mums to put on the balcony and they are starting to bud and I'm so ! Excited! 10. I'm going to tuck in with a movie and try not to overthink tomorrow

1. my doctor's office has a walk-in clinic only for current patients, so my parents and I went on a group date to get ourselves checked out this morning. as you do.  2. surprise, surprise, they sent me to the hospital for x-rays. it was pretty quick and I think we spent half the time there wandering around looking for Timmy's so dad could use a coupon for coffee and a donut. (Timmy's is Tim Hortons for all you non-Canadians, btw.) he never did get his donut. 3. granola for a late lunch before heading off to work for the day. not the most balanced meal, but fast and delicious.  4. ootd ft. the braid I slept in. whoops. I swear it was a decent looking French braid last night!  5. coffee, thank goodness. I had a desperate need for caffeine after six hours of sleep last night. 6. vegan samosa from the coffee shop down the street. also really delicious and necessary. 7. we're re-doing the lot tracking at work. Mike got creative with the section dividers and I'm easily amused. 8. made a massive bowl of roasted veggies on a bowl of mixed lentils and rice, topped with tahini and nooch. it was just what I needed after not being able to stand up for long enough to cook a decent meal for the last few days. 9. I spent an hour working on some algebra. pretty pens make it fun, right? right. 10. and finally, the apple pie I made instead of dinner last night with some coconut cream for dessert. my pie game def still needs some work, but it's very edible! note to self: don't skip the lemon juice in the filling.

I’ve been meaning to check it out, but haven’t had a chance until my friend invited me down to study with her today. 3 - Said friend took this snap to send to our friends. It was pouring and thundering then, but by the time we left is was sunny as heck! 4 - Notes notes notes 5 + 6  - Walks to and from the lab. I worked my second last shit there today! 7 + 8 - I feel like I’m cloud 9 whenever I take my car out. So so thankful. 9 - My set-up for dinner; watching today’s vlog from my new favourite Youtubers 10 - A night of studying. Finally finished the lecture I spent the majority of the day on! Today was the strangest day, but I’m getting back into the groove of things. One week until my first final and two and a half weeks until I move back to camp. Life is crazy. But crazy good too.
