Id like to be my old self again

Now I can listen to Folklore in the aesthetic it deserves

We did some things today and we neglected some things today. And that’s ok!

AuD!!! We did it!

My clinical supervisor forgot about me and now I’m just waiting in the car vibe check

I didn’t PR today and that’s ok. Today’s “race” wasn’t what I expected or could ever plan for. What I expected was to cruise through Washington D.C, an uninterrupted training cycle, and a big breakfast with the boyafter he cheered me on. Instead I ran 10 solo miles this morning. There was no one to push me, no one to take race pictures at the end, just me myself and I. That being said I’m still proud of the best training cycle since graduating college (literally uninterrupted until a pandemic). It seems silly to care about things like running right now as I feel stress and anxiety about everything else (where should I be, will I graduate on time, will things return to normal). However, for now running is in my control and I wanted to go do the 10 miles I committed to in January. It didn’t happen exactly how I wanted it to but we did it. On to the next one!
