Fall is the perfect time to adjust regimens to meet the changing needs of your skin. I’ve compiled some tips and my methods used to keep skin happy and healthy. Please note that these are not “one size fits all”. Every person has unique skin, and the best thing you can do for yours is learn what works and what doesn’t.

∞ In the warmer part of fall, light moisturizer is typically adequate.

∞ However,  In the cooler months we need to bump up the moisture with a more emollient formula (formula with a softening effect). This is ideally applied both day and night.

∞ In the summer my SPF (which has moisturizer in it as well) is enough for daytime, but in the fall and winter I layer an extra coat of nourishing hydration to protect me from the harsher climate.  Sunscreen is just as important in winter months as in summer. Snow reflects sunlight even more, and your skin can grow chapped in the cold air.
