A Quinn Martin Production...Tonight's episode...

TV Action No. 125, cover dated 7 July 1973. Cannon was a tv series that ran from 1971 to 1976 and starred William Conrad as ex-cop turned private detective (with what must have been one of the first car phones) Frank Cannon. This weeks issue featured:

Hawaii Five-O - art by Leslie Branton;

Mission Impossible - art by John Burns;

Dad's Army - art by Peter Ford;

They Walk in Darkness (a Gerry Anderson UFO strip but didn't say so in the title for some reason) - art by John Burns.

Tornado No. 16, dated 7 July 1979. Cover by Ian Kennedy.

The plane above is fictional but the Germans did 'join up' Heinkel He 111's during the Second World War. They were mainly used to tow gliders and not for bombing.

Back page feature on 'Roboskull and Red Wolf'. Always thought Red Wolf wasn't very wolf-like and suspected that might really have been a deep sea diver costume he had on.

News inside of a great free gift - An Action Force figure. That was quite an extravagant gift to get in those days.
