So, I've never particularly cared for "living weapon" characters where the character was born/forced into being a weapon: nothing wrong with them, just not my particular Type of character. BUT, what I've been discovering lately is that I LOVE a character who fashions THEMSELF into a weapon. Oh, you feel purposeless, or lost, or desperate for external validation, or you want to be strong and powerful, or you want to give yourself over fully to your cause/your team/your Person, so you decide that you have a purpose now and that purpose is to be someone's sword/shield/gun until they die or you do? You've become aware of the fact that you have no reason to exist, so you decided to make one? You feel like you're not good for anything as a person, so you decide to be a damn good sword instead? You've decided that the only way to solve your problems is to put your entire self on the line and fight everything for them? Delightful. Wonderful. More of that please.
