Welt is half-chinese, half-finnish && very lightly tanned. ( his scandinavian roots sort of came out on top of his asian ones in terms of skin colour ). his real name is Joachim Nokianvirtanen, which is very much a Scandinavian name but he does later on take on his mother's last name 'Yang', though idr the details as to why. i'm not heavy into hi3 at all. some other key features about welt is that he does have almond eyes, though they're less pronounced, as it's something we see in a lot of half-asian children. he's a lil paler by comparison but ultimately displays traits from both his parents simultaneously. maybe one day i'll deeper dive into all of this but not when i'm fighting a fatigue headache lmfao

my version of Ashveil is actually afro-latino. i haven't determined which latin-based country he comes from ( maybe argentina? chile? puerto rico? ) but rest assured he is both those things. there's possible theories he could be part asian too as 'La Mancha' is quite literally just a Moniker and doesn't determine his actual ethnicity, but i think for me personally i like the idea of him having latino roots. the african part is more or less purely self-indulgence ( and because hoyo is too scared to make dark characters for some ungodly reason ) but also because literally all the nods at Michael Jackson as inspiration for him is insane. and as a shameless MJ girlie fan, ofc i can't resist latching onto that. my Ashveil is darker in skin tone and also has curlier hair that he styles every day. it's still pretty fluffy but here's a good picture as to how he appears in my eyes
