You would be right that there would be a lot of resentment. However, his perception of sanses are unchanged, no mater who they are or what age they are in the moment. It will all depend on what kind of reaction you're looking for in this, because if it's just Imago being told their existence or just shown them- He will simply leave it alone, since it's an option he can take. He doesn't like to witness "good" bonding between a Papyrus and sans, since he knows it will be ruined one way or another by the sans later. Now if he was ACTUALLY interacting with them- Imago would instinctually adopt the 2-P while mercy kills 1-S. As brutal as it sounds, he would rather help raise a Papyrus into a better life rather than a sans. His spite and rejection of sans is WAY too strong for him to accept ANY sans in any kind of way, unless his best friend says otherwise for something "experimental". And he would rather raise a baby bones Papyrus from the ground up since he knows what would've been needed to be a good parental/guardian figure to an offspring, especially to a Papyrus since Imago had to go through hell and back without his true mother. Having lost a family member is one thing, but having a horrible childhood is another to Imago. He rather be blamed for eating a Papyrus's brother rather than let a Papyrus endure some bad shit or a burden on their life.
