General rules:
Only blog owners that are 18+ (ADULTS) can enter this contest!! Sorry, not sorry.
ONLY 2 PAPYRU PER OWNER!! So if you have a LOT of evil papyri, only 2 can be entered.
Please do not make an Evil papyrus just because you wanna try to win this contest, this is for the fun of the game and to get people exploring a more serious take on Papyri.
We will not allow people who are trying to enter sans in some way into this contest. (Ex. A sans disguised as a papyrus, or a Sans who is "fundamental" to an evil a papyrus, etc.)
Do not harass contestants, the judges, or me in any way when it comes to the contest. That will get you nowhere and spoil the fun for other people in the contest. If you have something important/serious to share about a contestant, please reach out to me via dms (or inbox if I'm not following you back).
Disqualifications align with the general rules, so keep that in mind!!

JUDGES AND SCORES:
There are three judges, including Imago (for ME)!!! The two other judges are Static ( @ask-ufpapyrus ) and Gravel ( @maxladcomics ).
There are two judging phases!
Score and Bonus scoring!!
Score: The judges pick numbers in the tens (Ex. 10, 50, 20). The required score to be in the final listings has to be 100 or more before the next phase! Not meeting 100 or at least 90 in score will put you low on the list during the second phase if your score isn't high enough.
Bonus Scoring: There are bonuses and deductions to the score in this phase! Which can mean a lot for the Papyri's places on the list!! Bonuses are +10 each! Deductions are -5 each.
BONUSES:
The Papyrus has killed before. (+10)
The papyrus has killed their own brother (+10)
The Papyrus has never been taken care of by a snas (+10)
The Papyrus has a soul obliterating tragic past that excuses all their crimes! (+10)
The Papyrus had to do something evil for something else good (Ex. Killing someone to rescue another.) (+10)
The papyrus is not at all related to sans. (Ex. Adopted brothers, roommates, neighbors, or strangers, etc.) (+10)
DISQUALIFICATIONS AND DEDUCTIONS:
The Papyrus can be silly, HOWEVER not to the point that no one will take them seriously! (Ex. Making them comically stupid, or the butt of a joke character) (-5)
Their story can't be a copy paste of another existing au with slight changes. It can be inspired by existing media though. (TV Shows, other video games, movies, etc.)
-Ex. The story sounds word for word like xtale, but the end plot and motive of the protag is different. THIS IS BAD (-5 points off or potentially disqualified on how bad the plagiarism is.)
-Ex 2. Protag is from an au inspired by or based on the world of the movie iROBOT. THIS IS GOOD! (No point deduction!)
If the Papyrus is from a different variant of an au, MAKE SURRE ITS COMPELLING ENOUGH or DRASTICALLY UNIQUE.
-Ex. Horrortale but everyone is small (height) except for Papyrus. WEAK (-5 points off)
-Ex 2. Underfell but Alphys is the empress and robots are taking over the monster kingdom. STRONG (No point deduction)
The papyrus has to not be a minor, the Papyrus has to be an adult. (This is a disqualification if the papyrus is a minor.)
The papyrus has to be ALIVE!! Or existing! We can't judge a Evil papyrus if bro isn't even actively around anymore.
-Ex. This Papyrus was everyone's nightmare, but was defeated and is no longer with us. (-5 points off)
-Ex 2. The Papyrus experienced death, but didn't fully die- and/or is undead! (No point deductions.)
The Papyrus was raised by or has Sans as their caretaker.
-Ex. Sans raised papyrus as a child, and still keeps care of him. (-5 points off)
-Ex 2. Sans was there in Papyrus's life, but wasn't at all reliable or not at all a good bigger sibling figure. (No point deduction)
Reaching 200 or more points will get you higher on the list! However, a poll will be hosted for those at a draw in their positions on the list!
Also keep in mind that there will be showcase posts!! Basically posts of the contestant's Papyrus with what the judges scored for them!! And maybe even commentary on said Papyri too!!!

Keep in mind, this tutorial is subjective. You don't have to follow it to a tea, and the "not Papyrus" shapes are based on my personal -icks on how some people draw papyrus.
I am somehow indirectly teaching shape theory in character design here.

We will just focus on his face! Since his face is the MOST important.
The simplest way to draw Papyrus is as follows, and I went out of my way to make a front view, side view, and back! Since most tutorials forget to show you how angles work.
SOME KIND OF RECTANGLE for his JAW will make what makes a Papyrus stand out as PAPYRUS.
Some squares work, but it's better to have a longer rectangle than a shorter one. If you want to play it safe, it's OKAY to go for a longer rectangle for his jaw. SO LONG as it isn't too far away from the frame work of the rectangle for the jaw.
Papyrus's jaw and shape as a character is what makes him particularly more special than sans. As well as more distinguishable.
Papyrus is a little more pointy than sans, but he can have a balance of some round shapes depending on your style and vibe for him. However, going too round or TOO pointy (Circles, ovals, Triangles and diamonds) will loose the spirit of papyrus, it will end up looking like sans or some fandom anime "-ah -ah" looking sans rather than papyrus.
Rectangle is key, and even though Papyrus isn't a HUMAN skeleton... his structure shares more similarities with our bones than sans's bones do.
Fun fact, Sans's bone structure looks more akin to infant bone structure. Probs why Monster kid in the game says "* I wonder if that weird skeleton is an adult or a kid." More so since sans has stripes on him and not Papyrus.
I won't get into bodies since Papyrus bodies are more advanced, however-! Even for Papyrus's body, it is more rectangular than sans's. Not his outfit, but the structure of his body is rectangular and COULD fit in a rectangle or even a unreasonably LARGE square. While sans is more round and can fit in either a circle or small square.
Anyway...
That is my tutorial for IDIOTS and beginners on how to draw papyrus. I rather wanna keep it simple so EVERYONE even SMALL BRAINED people can understand it. I also rather not see more people draw papyrus like how they draw sans on my FEED, it bothers me so fucking much.
