even if it hurts and it makes me feel like a burden, no matter how much time, tears, or effort it takes, I want to unlearn that inherent guilt for existing

I want to believe myself, know I’m a genuine kind person, to look at my true family and say, without a doubt, I won’t run them off

recently I’ve been really upset to be honest, it’s been really really hard

but so many people are rooting for me, whether they be our own alters or others, they’re all so kind and loving, even when we’re annoying or difficult

it makes us feel so incredibly grateful when saying “we can’t get out of bed” “we need crutches for our pain” “we’re a system” “we have tics” is met with complete compassion

we couldn’t thank any of you enough for giving us a safe space to live as us

I look forward to being comfortable in our own skin
