So, we’re all familiar with this shot of JJ punching the ground. There’s been a lot of theories that say maybe they lose Kie in this scene and that’s why he’s angry/upset - which I definitely thought possible because during the legendary hug, they’re wearing the same outfits.

But this time around, I noticed the scene immediately before we see the shot of him punching the ground is the exact same scene. It’s hard to tell because everything moves so quickly, but it’s not two scenes cut together, it’s one.

We can see JJ in the back, in the same position he’s in in the closer shot, and also we can see that Kiara is completely fine and present. So, that’s not what JJ’s upset about.

What... if it wasn't actually fire? The lyrium idol, Meredith, the blights, darkspawn, red-fucking-lyrium. The history of this world is blight soaked in its darkest corners.

What if she was... not burned by actual flame, but something like flame? Something red as fire. Something that spreads. Something that devours. Something that can do worse than just kill. Something... Andraste could sing through.

I know, I know, the Ashes. "Burning Darkpawn is the best way to dispose of them, so the corpses can't taint or get anyone sick," was basically what that soldier was telling a group in Ostagar.

Both Yato and Kazuma are so sad and depressed, and Hiyori’s not doing too great either. Like, I just want them all to be happy? Is that too much to ask?

How is Yato even going to be able to defeat trash dad now? He gave Kazuma the family name and called him Kazune, so like now there is going to be even MORE angst I can just feel it in my bones.

the clave has on record that he was born in batavia, dutch east indies, but they do not have a date of birth. this tells us that even the goddamn clave doesn’t know when magnus was really born

his specialties include healing magic, potions (both liquid and powder form) and “known downworld liaison to vampires, werewolves”. isn’t it interesting that the 3 things the clave has listed for him are painting him as a diplomat & a healer

among the mundane professions that are known to the clave he’s been a coiffeur/hairdresser (1847-1865), the owner of pandemonium (currently) as well as involved in “real estate” (1971-1986). what do the quotation marks mean? does the clave simply not know what it means? does it imply some sketchy business on magnus’ part? maybe he was buying and selling real estate to harbor fugitives? (see below)

what if that wasn’t actually jocelyn who got killed? we know valentine has been experimenting with dark shit for years. what if he found out a way to glamour a body to look like someone else, without it looking like a glamour (so the other shadowhunters can’t detect it). this is assuming that regular glamours disappear when a person dies, but maybe they don’t?

so either he just regularly glamoured jocelyn, or it’s some ~special glamour~. point is: the dead body is not actually jocelyn.

instead, valentine has found a way to smuggle her out of the institute, and now she’s being held captive. (there’s a whole discussion to be had here about the absolute fucking horror of her being back with her abuser, but that’s for another time)

now, we know that as of 2x06, luke is still missing since the demon attack (x). what if he saw jocelyn be taken and is out looking for her? alternatively, he’s also been captured by valentine, which could open up a whole new insight into valentine and luke’s ex-parabatai bond. this might even make more sense, because i doubt luke would just bolt and leave clary thinking her mother is dead. it’s still possible that he did leave voluntarily, though, because as he said, "when valentine took you, i promised myself it was the last time i’d ever be without you”. i doubt there was much time to think it through and luke loves jocelyn so much so maybe it’s not that unlikely that he just threw himself into the chase headfirst.
