Mariana had been on assignment for about a month now. Being a student and having an opportunity like this was almost unheard of so obviously she’d jumped at the chance to go halfway around the world to study wildlife in the deep jungle. The group had been out many times but she’d never been the type to wait around for someone to hold her hand. Instead she’d decided to use her day off to hopefully get a good look at the plant she’d seen the day before. So far she hadn’t run into any wild cats or anything of the like so she reached to pull her large camera from her bag to snap a few quick shots. The camera clicked one final time and then she heard it. A twig snapping from somewhere over her shoulder. “W-who’s there?” She called out, realizing after the words were out of her mouth that it was probably just an animal who wouldn’t understand her anyways.

Mariana: I know my dad chose to marry your mother and all Mariana: But I sure as hell didn’t choose a 6am wake up call.  Mariana: You should talk to your mother and straighten this out cause I’m the opposite of a morning person

If Mariana didn’t have incredible vision thanks to being undead, she wouldn’t have believed her eyes. Years flew by like minutes to her but there before her was Isabelle. The young woman she’d turned not that long ago but circumstances had pushed them apart. Then all of a sudden she waltzed back into her life like nothing. “Isabelle?” She asked quietly.
