the problem-- is that when she's with blake, or in the midst of her laveaus, she forgets that she's just mortal, just a reckless human, held together by nothing but blood, and the most mundane magic. it's that recklessness that finds her tied to a chair, bleeding. getting kidnapped had been foolish on her part, she'd been frequenting the club for long enough that she doubted she sparked any real interest in the supernaturals there. she was wrong. her dress (vintage, versace) was ruined, ripped from where they'd flung her on the chair. she is bleeding, a little still. she doesn't know this vampire's name, doesn't really know why he'd taken her-- but she'd heard blake's name once or twice. it's been 18 hours since she'd been stolen, longer since she'd slept.
she expects nyx to rescue her, or pandora to burn down the empty flat they'd stashed her in. but it's blake that comes, blake that shows up, and she can feel his coiled anger from here. she's half sure all of the men who'd taken her are dead, she scans him--looking for evidence, making sure he's alright. "...you're late. they ruined my dress--" and hit her--and bit her, and it's a violation in a way she struggles to articulate. she's pale, a little grey from the blood loss-- but none of it is enough to stop her cheek. she suspects she's only alive because of the stone in her belly button ring, a clever trick by nyx to prevent supernatural death. "did you break his heart or something? the grouchy one that took me-- he seemed very unhappy with you. is this a scorned ex thing? because ruining vintage versace because he misses you isn't fair on me."
