In our last house, i used to do the skip it in the garage, a few times a day, for a few minutes each. When we got to the apartment, i never used to work out at all. in this house, i told myself to get a work out, we have like 12 stairs from upstairs to the basement, i walk up and down all of those ten times.

Ladies,
Today I am writing directly to you, I feel that there is an issue that needs to be addressed immediately.
Recently, I have discovered Tumblr. I am still exploring it so I'm not too sure what it is all about yet.
However, I began looking up “tags” such as workout, inspiration, fitness, and others like this. Then, I came across a certain tag called “thinspiration” and I was appalled at what I came across. There were hundreds of pictures of women who were bone thin. What really drove me over the edge were the blog entries of girls who were begging for encouragement to NOT EAT that day! They went on to say they felt so much better when they didn’t eat at all during the day and that they hated them selves for not working out and eating. I was honestly shocked.
Now, I am not naive I know body image is a HUGE problem in today’s society but, when I saw it right in front of me on my computer screen I just couldn’t ignore it anymore.
So, what I want to do with this blog is to help change the mentality of women and girls everywhere. I know this is a HUGE task, but each tiny step is one step closer to improving the lives of people everywhere.
This brings me to my concept…. The Woods Lifestyle.
This is NOT a diet or workout plan this is a healthy, positive lifestyle.
I am in no way a professional or a doctor but, I am a real life person who follows this lifestyle on a daily basis and it works! It is basically my lifestyle how I live everyday. I want to share it with everyone because I want everyone to experience life in the best way possible for them.
` So, join me in the battle against the negativity of today’s world, join me in destroying the “perfect body”. Lets build people up and make this world even better than it is. To do this, it can start with you; one person can start a ripple of change for the better.
Each week I will post my weekly menu and workout plan, remember this is what I do! You can change things however you want…find out what works for you.
And then each day I will post what inspires me that day to be positive it can be a quote, a picture, an event that happened anything!
