idk who needs to hear this (everyone on this goddamn website) but, as a victim of grooming, i wanna emphasize: grooming is not caused by art. it is caused by people exploiting emotional neglect and a lack of proper sex ed. it is an act of manipulation that utilizes a lack of information!!
blaming it on like, incest fanfic, ageplay kink, cub art, etc, is basically a "video games cause violence" argument. that shit is not encouraging real life abuse and it doesn't really make it any easier for it to happen either. it's just something easy to point at and blame because it looks vaguely related at a glance.
