it is incredibly disappointing to see how the early days of grilling in our community still affects us to this day. i genuinely dont think there should be a real need to question someone else or ourselves on whether or not experiencing otherkinity in a seperate way than what is common (or our own experience) is "valid" or not

Nullkind & Aliumkind
Originally these were going to be made because i wanted specific terms for my personal experience, but thought that others might find them useful.
Nullkind/Nullthrope: When one rejects species identification entirely, not saying whether one is human or alterhuman/nonhuman; Not being ambiguous, other or saying you're neither- a complete refusal to answer or even consider the question; Rejection of categorizing yourself as either human or nonhuman.
Aliumkind/Aliumthrope: Having a disconnect or being detached from humanity, regardless of why or if they're human/alterhuman/nonhuman.
UPDATED Paroulink: Identifying with nonhuman traits, creatures, or fictional characters voluntarily, either as a way to cope or as a way to express your disconnect/detachment from humanity; A specific form of otherlink+copinglink.
It's a personal term that falls under otherlink, related to copinglink and maybe aeslink too. Basically I identify with animalistic traits, and consequently animals and creatures with those traits because of my lack of self confidence and my detachment from humanity, not necessarily because I'm nonhuman. This might just be aeslink so I don't want it to be official or anything and I probably won't use it.

Ok I cant reply since this a sideblog but I got a really good reply/suggestion on my issue with tagging my posts so ima start using actuallydemonic/actuallyfallen/actuallydraconic etc!!
I wont bother changing a bunch of my old reblogs but yeah! Very happy to have a different tag to use
Does anybody know of another proposed suffix thats more inclusive of all alterhuman identities?
I donβt really vibe with IDing as -kin -link etc anymore I like just being alterhuman
but Iβm not really sure the best way to tag so that so that I can find other who are like me, as an example I identify as a demon and a dragon
and so other than tagging dragonkin or demonkin i wont really be able to find others like me, alterhuman is to broad.
I also dont wanna just tag demon or dragon and block up those tags and have non alterhumans accidentaly find my account
