Small Things to Remember Being Holy
Listening to music that gives you the feeling of being divine again. This doesnât have to be classical, soft, or gentle. It can be edgy, hardcore, even fearsome. Angels arenât all soft and fluffy.
Running against the wind for the feel of a breeze through your hair, your feathers, against your skin. It can really feel like flying again.
Wearing gold (or silver) piercings and jewelry, depending on who you were. Shrink your halo into a septum piercing, a nose ring, earrings, a bracelet- anything that makes you feel like yourself again.
Drink milk infused with honey, vanilla, and cinnamon. Donât be afraid to go overboard with proportions, but too much vanilla and cinnamon can be a little unusual.
Stand outside in the rain, letting it plaster your clothes to your skin. Sometimes when you have that skin-tight embrace, it feels like your wings are back.
Collect golden or silver items that remind you of home. This can be anything, anything that gives you the feeling of being where you belong.
Wear clothing that relates to your divinity. Whether this is dark, abrasive outfits or light and airy sweaters that make you feel like youâre drifting through the clouds, wear what makes you happy.
Treat yourself to a bath every now and then. Infuse the water with vanilla or lavender. It can really put you in a more positive headspace.
Cloud or stargaze. Try to find patterns, pictures, creatures in the sky that not everyone can see. Invite those close to you to join, sometimes the community can give you the feeling of being among your siblings.
Keep your head high. Give off the feeling of being an angel, in the way that you walk, the way that you hold yourself. Learn to love this Earth, if you donât already, and show others what it means to be an angel.
